Training more doesn't necessarily mean you are getting better than someone who is training less hours. The quality of your sessions is key. However, here are a few things to keep in mind so that you are getting more training in. Just make sure they are quality sessions! 1) First, realize that consistency is usually more important than intensity. You will hit a point of diminishing returns doing something for long hours without a break. For example, it's usually better to have 5 days where you have good, quality one hour training sessions each day, over having one day where you try and do 5 hours.  2) Next is block time off to train! So many players tell me they don't have the time to train. I call bs. Actually schedule in time to train and you'll find that you have plenty. Or maybe you need to cut down on playing video games, watching TV and so on. There's nothing wrong with doing those things. But if you are doing those things and also saying you have no time to train, you're kidding yourself.  3) An often overlooked piece in the jigsaw is making sure you get plenty of rest. Grinding is great! But grinding when you're only able to fulfill a fraction of your potential because you're so tired isn't beneficial. Your body needs to recover! ️No opponents to whip around so making use of what I have. The rebounder. Trained the bending technique by striking at the rebounder throughout most of the session ( so I could get more repetitions of the technique), but here I’m finishing at goal just to end the session.
